Mensa Rempartstraße

In our largest refectory directly in the city center, behind the main building of the university, we offer you a varied and fresh range. Every day you can choose between vegetarian, vegan and meat dishes from a total of five dishes. In addition, there is a salad buffet and the bistro on the first floor. There you will find a front cooking area, grilled meat and fish, Asian dishes from the wok, an action counter and an antipasti buffet. The Mensa Rempartstraße is BIO-certified and is the only refectory of the Studierendenwerk Freiburg, which offers lunch on Saturdays.

Coffee afterwards can be found in our café bar, which is located on the first floor. Just in time for the summer semester, the Mensa Garden opens, providing you with coffee specialties, cold drinks or a refreshing ice cream. The large and cosy outdoor area is the perfect place to switch off and savour the study break.  The MensaGarten opens in time for the summer semester, where you can enjoy speciality coffees, cold drinks or a refreshing ice cream.
