We are
As a cross-university social institution with over 350 employees, the Studierendenwerk Freiburg is responsible for the economic, social and cultural support and promotion of around 46,000 students in the Freiburg university region.
This also includes the operation of two daycare centers:
- Kita Kleine Knöpfe
- Pusteblume daycare center
A total of 100 children between the ages of one and three are looked after there.
The daycare centers are financed by grants from the state and the city of Freiburg as well as by parental contributions and part of the semester fees paid by all students to the Studierendenwerk.
Our facilities are characterized by lovingly designed and child-friendly rooms, a spacious outdoor area and varied, freshly prepared meals.
